CURRENT PROJECT
We are communicating with KinderCare and the International Thespian Society to create a book drive to be added to our latest shipment whilst documenting the process onto the website.
We have created an Instagram post and spread the word by requesting people to repost the announcement, which over 15 have done, of the International Thespian Society and HelpSriLankaRead partnership. The drive will allow students and specifically theater members to donate books which amounted to nearly 50 books and still counting!
We have begun assembling the package by documenting, separating, and organizing the books into different subcategories and skill levels. The image below showcases me organizing after distributing the books to the administering location.
A donation page was added to the website as well as to Instagram and we have gotten requests for picking up books at University High, Chino Hills High, Northwood High
